Barkme

Know the moment something goes down.

Uptime monitoring for the endpoints and APIs you depend on. Barkme checks them from outside, opens an incident when they fail, and tells your team where it already works.

Your customers shouldn't be your monitoring.

When a site goes down, the worst way to find out is from a customer. Barkme checks every endpoint around the clock and tells you first.

How it works

  1. 01

    Add a monitor

Any HTTP endpoint. Barkme sends a GET request every 30 seconds, or every 1, 2 or 5 minutes, and any 2xx response counts as up.

  2. 02

    Two failures open an incident

A failed check retries after two seconds. Two failures in a row open an incident, one per monitor, so one outage is one alert.

  3. 03

    Alerts where your team works

Email, Slack, Telegram, Linear, Trello, or a signed webhook.

  4. 04

    Resolved on the first success

The incident closes itself on the next successful check.

Beyond uptime

SSL certificates

Checked daily, with warnings 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before a certificate expires.

Domain registration

The same countdown for the domain itself, so a forgotten renewal never takes a site down.

Domain reputation

A daily look at web-filtering resolvers and the Spamhaus DBL, SURBL and URIBL blocklists.
