One command to a ready Laravel app.

Instead of a boilerplate that goes stale, Kalimera automates the setup itself: a fresh, current Laravel application prepared your way, the same way every time.

Version 1.0.0. MIT licence.

Install it once, use it for every app.

  1. composer global require welldigit/kalimera
  2. kalimera new my-app

Every choice is asked upfront, followed by a summary and a single confirm. Then the run is unattended.

What it sets up

Starter kit

React, Vue, Livewire, Svelte, or none, with optional manual Inertia.

Ecosystem packages

Horizon, Fortify, Laravel AI, Scout and Nightwatch, each picked or skipped.

Sail services

PostgreSQL and Redis by default; MySQL, Mailpit, Meilisearch and MinIO when you ask.

Quality from the first commit

Pint, PHPStan and Rector wired and green before you write a line.

Your package set

Defined once in kalimera.config.json. The built-in catalog is the Spatie collection; replace it with your own.

Laravel Boost

Boost for your coding agents, plus skills from the GitHub repositories you name.

What it needs

PHP 8.4.1+

Runs Kalimera, laravel new and the first artisan calls.

Composer 2.2+

Installs Kalimera and downloads the new app's packages.

Laravel installer

For laravel new.

Docker

A running daemon, reachable without sudo. Sail builds and runs the app.

git

For laravel new --git and the final commit. Node.js is not needed on the host.

Built for coding agents.

Kalimera ships an agent skill. Your agent asks the same questions in its own interface, writes the answers to a config file and runs the installer unattended, then checks the result.
